8. Intellectual Property
The Blueshift framework, scoring methodology, and all associated content are the intellectual property of Steve Harmon. The book Blueshift, the Blueshift Signal product, and all website content are protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Steve Harmon, Flow Information Systems, and any affiliated entities shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to financial losses from investment decisions made using Blueshift Scores or data.

1. Information We Collect
Account information: When you register with a book activation code, we collect your email address. If you subscribe to a paid tier, we collect payment information through our payment processor (PayPal or Stripe) — we do not store credit card numbers directly.
Usage data: We log API queries (ticker lookups, timestamps) to enforce rate limits and improve the Service. We do not track or store your investment decisions or portfolio information.
Website analytics: We may collect anonymous usage data (page views, referral sources) to understand how the site is used.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: (a) provide and maintain the Service; (b) send transactional emails (API key delivery, threshold alerts, weekly digests); (c) enforce rate limits and prevent abuse; (d) improve the scoring engine and user experience.
3. Information Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We may share information with: (a) payment processors to handle subscriptions; (b) email service providers to deliver alerts and digests; (c) law enforcement if required by law.
4. Data Retention
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. API query logs are retained for 90 days for rate limiting and debugging, then deleted. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing terms@blueshift.world.
5. Security
We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS), hashed API keys, and secure cloud infrastructure. However, no system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.
6. Cookies
The blueshift.world website does not use tracking cookies. The Blueshift Signal dashboard may use session cookies for authentication purposes only.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to: (a) access the personal information we hold about you; (b) request correction of inaccurate information; (c) request deletion of your account and data; (d) opt out of non-essential emails. To exercise these rights, contact terms@blueshift.world.
8. Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.
