Seven questions about your market. Five about your position. Three minutes, and you know whether the shift has started, where the value is going, and whether you are positioned to catch it or about to be bypassed.
The seven signals of the Blueshift Framework read any platform shift, in any field: an industry, a career, a technology, a market. Here they read the one closest to you. Your own company, in your own market.
Every industry goes through a platform shift. The companies that lose usually see it coming. What they get wrong is where the value goes.
Kodak invented the digital camera. Nokia had smartphones before Apple. Blockbuster was offered Netflix. None of them missed the shift. They misjudged which layer would capture the profits, and they were still deciding when the answer arrived.
The seven signals below fire in sequence when a platform shift is underway. Five or more active means the shift is confirmed. Answer honestly about your own market, not the market you wish you were in.
Seven signals. Mark each one active or inactive for the market you compete in today.
The seven signals describe the weather. These five describe whether you are dressed for it. A company can sit inside a confirmed shift and still be the one getting bypassed.
Optional. Answering it lets us publish how each industry scores against the seven signals. Nothing identifying is stored.
Answer all twelve questions to see your assessment result.
Your own result is one data point. The more useful picture is how your competitors, your suppliers, and the platform layer above you score on the same seven signals.
Those results are published free at blueshift.world. Start with the three companies whose position most determines yours.
